If to address to the definition of the term technology, to its primary value (a techno — skill, art; logos — a science) we will come to conclusion, that the technology purpose consists in spreading out process of achievement of any result to making elements. The technology is applicable everywhere where there is an achievement, aspiration to result, but realised use of the technological approach was original revolution. Before technology occurrence art dominated — the person did something, but it something turned out only at it, it as gift - is given or not given. With the help of technology all that is accessible only to the elite, presented (art), becomes accessible to all. For example, it is possible to present manufacturing of a stone axe as the art certificate, and it is possible — as technology. In the first case we have (probably matchless axe, but with death of the carrier of art of making of the axes, the marked tools any more will not be. In the second case skill will remain for ever, but quality of a product will be possible) not such high.

The moment of transition from art to technology has actually created a modern human civilisation, has made possible its further development and perfection.

By and large, the technology is present at all live as all live, anyhow, makes processing of a foodstuff in products abilities to live (waste).

However it is necessary to consider as the beginning of Technology of the person the first experience of improvement of properties of the first tools, whether it be a stick-kopalka or a silicon knife.

Concerning technology as process - one of the first (but till now significant!) technology is extraction process by the primitive person of fire by means of a friction.

In due course technologies have undergone considerable changes and if once the technology meant by itself simple skill now the technology is a difficult complex of knowledge of the know-how received at times by means of expensive researches.

About an origin of technologies

In the end of the XX-th century our knowledge of how there were the most ancient stone tools, have undergone changes. Process of occurrence of tools has been defined as process gradual earlier. Occurrence new was represented as process evolutionary when new appeared in parts, instead of at once: at first appeared primitive which later got modern shape. The improvement picture, proceeding from the previous stage was looked through.

Now for such picture of occurrence of tools there are no bases. Now there is other picture based on supervision of archeologists. The picture essence consists that there is an invention of technics of splitting of a stone, instead of the tool offered before the invention.

Time of great opening in Africa - about 60-70th years of the last century.
